Jacques Zanetti, a truly independent filmmaker, just finished shooting his new narrative feature Day After Day. It is currently being edited and will be completed in 2015. 

Prior to this, he directed his first feature film In the summer of 2005, Lea (Soliloquy), that he wrote and produced as well. He then moved on to direct two feature documentaries New York 45, about a group of friends living their life and dreams in the city… and West Fourth, A Handball Story, about the game of New York Handball, a street sport, featuring some of its best players. 

James Abbott Is Gone, his first narrative project since 2005, was shot in 2012 and completed in December 2013.

"Her name is Julia. She does love Tom. She's gonna have a baby. She doesn't know Viola and Mariati. Only that they live around the neighborhood. But then she wonders why she can't be full of vitality, full of love, the way Mariati and Viola seem to be together?"

"Elle s'appelle Julia. Elle aime Tom. Elle va avoir un enfant. Elle ne connait pas Viola et Mariati. Elle sait seulement qu'elles vivent dans le quartier. Mais pourtant elle se demande pourquoi elle se sent dénuée de l'énergie et de l'amour qui semblent combler Viola et Mariati ?"
